It is basically a commercial airport is being operated by the Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares which is a famous corporation owned by the government itsef. It is mainly situated in the Venustiano Carranza region. It is also known as the Benito Juarez International Airport having its IATA code as MEX and the ICAO code as MMMX. That is why it is also known as the Mexico City International Airport. Mexico City Airport is an International Airport.
